Privacy Policy
Pay Fiede Clausen AG ("PFC AG", "we", "us") respects your privacy and handles personal data in accordance with the revised Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP / revDSG, in force since 1 September 2023). This policy explains what personal data we process when you visit this website and what rights you have.
1. Controller
The controller responsible for the processing described here is: Pay Fiede Clausen AG, Baarerstrasse 43, CH-6300 Zug, Switzerland. Email: privacy@pfc.ag.
2. What we process, and what we do not
This is a static information website. It has no online shop, no login, no contact form and no user accounts. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics or tracking, and loads no third-party content. The fonts are embedded in the page itself, so your browser makes no request to any external provider when you view it.
We process personal data in only two cases:
- Correspondence: if you write to us at the email address shown on this website, we process the data you choose to send, namely your email address, your name if you give it, and the content of your message, in order to read and respond to it.
- Server logs: when the website is delivered to you, our hosting provider automatically records technical access data, including your IP address, the date and time of the request, the page requested, and basic browser and system information. This occurs for every website and is needed to deliver the site and keep it secure.
3. Purposes and basis for processing
We process correspondence in order to handle and respond to your enquiry. We process server logs in order to operate the website, maintain its stability and security, and protect against misuse. Under the revised FADP this processing is justified by our legitimate interest in operating a secure website and in communicating with those who contact us, and, in the case of correspondence, by your own decision to write to us. We do not use your data for advertising, we do not profile visitors, and we take no automated individual decisions about you.
4. Recipients
We do not sell or rent personal data, and we do not disclose it to third parties except as described here. This website is hosted by Infomaniak Network SA, Switzerland, which processes the server-log data on our behalf as our processor under a data-processing agreement. We may disclose data where we are required to do so by law or by a competent authority.
5. Data abroad
Our hosting provider is a Swiss company and the website is hosted in Switzerland. The processing described in this policy does not transfer your personal data abroad.
6. Retention
We keep correspondence only for as long as is necessary to deal with your matter and to meet any applicable legal retention obligations, after which it is deleted. Server logs are kept by our hosting provider for a limited period for security and operational purposes and are then deleted or anonymised.
7. Your rights
Within the limits of the revised FADP you may ask us whether and what personal data we process about you (right to information), and you may request that inaccurate data be corrected, that data be deleted or its processing restricted, and you may object to a processing. To exercise any of these rights, please write to us at privacy@pfc.ag; we may need to verify your identity before responding. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC), Feldeggweg 1, CH-3003 Bern (www.edoeb.admin.ch).
8. Data security
We and our hosting provider apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes to the website or to the applicable law. The version published here is the one that applies.
